Are we still doing this?

All the noise around Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts has not been so great this offseason, from reports about last season to how his OTAs performance was over the last three weeks.

Hurts is facing a lot of heat from the media after an ESPN report cited team sources who criticized him for changing the plays and being uncoachable, among other things. He also did not have the best OTAs, as the Eagles' offense is still going through a transition with new offensive coordinator Sean Mannion.

ESPN NFL analyst Ryan Clark took to social media as he shared his top six quarterbacks and the six quarterbacks under the most pressure to win big. Hurts, unfortunately, found his way onto the list of QBs with the most pressure to win big....for some reason.

Jalen Hurts continues to face pressure to win in 2026

Of all the quarterbacks, why does Hurts face the pressure to win it big? He's already been to two Super Bowls and won one. What else does he need to prove?

The answer is nothing. He has nothing to prove.

Hurts has been to three Pro Bowls, won over 68% of the games he has started, and won a Super Bowl MVP. Because he had a "bad season" in 2025, all of a sudden, he has all this pressure to win or his time in Philly is done.

As a reminder, he made the Pro Bowl last year, threw a career-high 25 touchdowns, and only had six interceptions, with most of them coming in one game. Yes, he had a bad game against the Los Angeles Chargers and had two second half games where he didn't complete a pass. Is he supposed to be perfect every game? Because Eagles fans remember Patrick Mahomes having some rough performances himself.

Once again, the media is pushing a narrative that has no business being there. Hurts wins game, Plain and simple. Leave the man alone and let him do his job.
