The first and only week of mandatory OTAs for the Philadelphia Eagles was certainly an adventure for the fan base.
Philly's defense looked elite, with standout performances that give hope this unit will bounce back from the 2025 season. As for the offense, they certainly went through some hardships as they navigated the transition to Sean Mannion's offense.
There were some great standout performances from the two days of work for the Eagles, but plenty of players have some work to do over the next month before getting to training camp. Here's a look at the big winners and losers from the final week of OTAs.
Winner: Riq Woolen, CB
Woolen completely dominated OTAs over all three weeks and was the most-mentioned name among all the Eagles. He had great moments like shutting down DeVonta Smith and making life tough on their star quarterback. Woolen has all the makings of someone who might be making his first Pro Bowl appearance if he keeps this high level of play up.
Loser: Joe Tryon-Shoyinka, EDGE
No one had a worse week than Tryon-Shoyinka, who was the only player on the Eagles who did not show up for either of the mandatory OTAs. He is also facing new competition at edge rusher, with A.J. Epenesa signed by the team. It's not looking good for Tryon-Shoyinka to make the 53-man roster or even to make it to training camp.
Winner: Jeremiah Trotter Jr., LB
With all eyes on Jihaad Campbell and his leap in Year 2, it's Trotter who's gaining some momentum. Trotter had a great week of practice that included nabbing an interception of Jalen Hurts. The Eagles might know who is starting, but Trotter is making a strong case to be a heavy-rotation presence in 2026.
Loser: Jalen Hurts, QB
While it's painful to put Hurts in the loser category a second straight week, he did not perform well. Two interceptions thrown and zero touchdowns with a completion percentage under 60% is not exactly a great week of work. Should that mean everyone needs to overreact and panic? No, but some momentum over the Summer would have been great, and Hurts won't have any going into training camp, so he and the offense better shape up and get ready.

Winner: Vic Fangio, Defensive Coordinator
It was a pretty good week for one of the best coordinators in the NFL, as a lot went right with the defense's performance at OTAs. Fangio has Woolen playing well, the defense is forcing multiple turnovers against Hurts, and he signed another solid pass rusher in Epenesa. This defense looks like a top-five unit in 2026, and Fangio plays a big role in that.
