While a closer look was previously provided into the skillset and potential fit in Philly for Gennings Dunker, his Iowa teammate certainly belongs firmly on the Philadelphia Eagles' radar as well.

Offensive guard Beau Stephens is another Hawkeye up front who has developed fast into a tantalizing line prospect. Like Dunker, the Missouri native also clocks in at 6-foot-5 and 315 pounds, yet Stephens brings his own unique traits that make up an intriguing overall scouting profile.

Eagles might want to target two Iowa offensive linemen in NFL Draft

Stephens is fresh off a dominant 2025 season, one capped by numerous accolades. As a first-team AP All-American and first-team All-Big Ten selection, the guard's performance was nothing short of elite. Per Pro Football Focus, Stephens was the highest-rated guard in a power conference, a testament to just how dominant he was in his final collegiate season.

As a high schooler, Stephens wrestled and played basketball, and his overall athleticism was evident when he arrived on Iowa's campus. Similar to Dunker, Stephens developed during a redshirt freshman season before kicking things into gear in year two. Following a sophomore season that was derailed amid an ankle injury after five starts, Stephens bounced back strong to start 12 games as a junior.

Stephens exploded onto the scene in his highly decorated senior season, paving the way along with Dunker and company for a potent Iowa rushing attack that averaged 197 yards per game, good for #2 overall in the Big Ten.

Per NFL Draft Buzz, Stephens checks in as the #9-rated guard prospect, and like his college teammate Dunker, Stephens is poised to arrive in the NFL battle-tested and well-versed on the intricacies of zone blocking - another match for newly minted offensive coordinator Sean Mannion's offense.

While he's not projected to get selected on the level of #1 guard prospect Olaivavega Ioane or his teammate Gennings Dunker (#3 per NFL Draft Buzz), Stephens could potentially develop into a very good starter with mock drafts placing him in the mid-round range.

With Dunker on the radar - and with Eagles general manager Howie Roseman already having struck gold with Cooper DeJean - there's plenty of Hawkeye talent that Philadelphia brass is keenly aware of.
