It's so early on during Philadelphia Eagles training camp, but the first two days have been dominated by one guy: Tank Bigsby.
The Eagles' underappreciated running back has had fans begging for him to get the football, but the franchise heard them loud and clear. Bigsby has been a star throughout the first two days with many team reporters praising the work he has done so far.
"For the second straight day I’m going to say it: Tank Bigsby just brings so much juice," NBC Sports Eagles reporter Dave Zangaro said. "It’s fun to watch him play."

How much will Tank Bigsby actually be involved in the Eagles' offense in 2026?
Throughout the 2025 season, the biggest complaint about former Eagles offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo, besides the play-calling, was his lack of usage of Bigsby. In games where he had at least one carry, he averaged 5.8 rushing attempts per game in 10 contests. He finished the season averaging 5.9 yards per carry in an Eagles uniform.
It was clear as day that even though the offensive line struggled in 2025, Bigsby was the one back creating big plays every touch. Starting running back Saquon Barkley averaged only 4.1 carries per game and had fewer touches than Bigsby.
Training camp has shown Bigsby in a much different light. The Eagles are giving him his due respect, and he's been playing more with the first team.
New Eagles offensive coordinator Sean Mannion learned from Patullo's mistakes and is using his back. Bigsby is going to play a major role in the offense in 2026.
That's a good thing, even though everyone wants Barkley on the field more. This will take some of the pressure off Barkley and let Bigsby use his explosiveness to create plays on the ground and catch the ball.

It's such a relief for Eagles fans to finally see a great talent like Bigsby getting his time to shine on offense. With Barkley and Bigsby together, this backfield might end up being the best duo this franchise has had since Jay Ajayi and LeGarrette Blount.
