So, what if Kellen Moore is hired and he does leave?

Our favorite team, the Philadelphia Eagles, may be on the verge of being robbed again. Have you heard? A handful of NFL teams were dissatisfied with how their regular season ended.

Those teams decided after losing campaigns to move on from their head coaches, and just like that, Kellen Moore's name has been thrown into the rumor mill.

Only, these aren't actually rumors.

It isn't unusual for the needy to attempt poaching football's best teams when in need of leadership. We've seen Philly's coaching cupboard raided before... Frank Reich... Shane Steichen... Jonathan Gannon... And, now possibly Moore...

Moore will interview with the Jacksonville Jaguars on Friday. Perhaps you heard. They moved on from Doug Pederson. That precedes a Saturday interview with the New Orleans Saints. The hated Dallas Cowboys are also on his itinerary. They confirmed they will also interview him on Friday.

So, what if Kellen Moore does leave? Who are the Eagles' best options for replacing him?

As we sat here, thinking of the possibilities of Philly's OC landing elsewhere, we asked ourselves an obvious question. Who are the best options for replacing him?

A few names popped into our heads as we began thinking. Stay tuned. Something tells us that this list might keep on growing.

Josh McCown, Vikings QB coach

Never forget the time Josh McCown gutted it out for an injured Carson Wentz during the postseason. Never forget how he was this close to almost playing backup for every NFL team or how he helped work wonders with Sam Darnold as Minnesota's QB coach this season.

Many options will split this Eagles fan base in terms of whether not we are interested, but most wouldn't have issue with bringing Josh in for an interview.

Chad O’Shea, Browns WR coach and passing-game coordinator

Chad O'Shea spent a decade with Bill Belichick as a WR coach. He was the Miami Dolphins' OC in 2019. During his time in Cleveland with the Browns, he has done some nice things. Perhaps the most impressive is helping fuel Joe Flacco's resurgence last season.

David Girardi, Chiefs QBs coach

Teams raid coaches from winning organizations, and no team has more quality wins than the Chiefs these past few years. Let's enter David Girardi's name into the conversation.

His coaching career began in 2011 as a Seton Hall graduate assistant. He's been with Andy Reid since 2018 and has elevated from quality control coach to QBs coach, a role he has done well in for the past two NFL seasons.

Kevin Patullo, Eagles passing-game coordinator

This list loses legitimacy if Kevin Patullo's name isn't on it. He's one of the best options for an inside hire. Despite being in his mid-forties, he has a coaching resume that stretches back over two decades, including stops with six NFL franchises.

He has been involved in Philly's pass game since 2021.

Tee Martin, Ravens QB coach

Tee Martin has one thing on his resume that Peyton Manning doesn't. He won a BCS National Championship leading the Tennessee Volunteers as the QB1. These days, he's been helping Lamar Jackson's continued evolution as a passer.

Marcus Brady, Chargers passing game coordinator

Philly could look to bring Marcus Brady home. He was an offensive consultant here in 2022 and a senior offensive assistant in 2023. He's spent this past season in L.A. with Jim Harbaugh, Justin Herbert, and the Chargers.
