5 Eagles players who are next in line to be Pro Bowlers

Here's a list of five Eagles we'll drive to the Pro Bowl Games ourselves if they get snubbed again next season.

Reed Blankenship, safety

We were fairly entrenched in the voting process. Then, we realized something. Reed Blankenship was one of the leading vote-getters at the safety position early on.

One of four Eagles that made the roster as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2022, it's hard to determine where he began losing steam. Whatever the case, when the final Pro Bowl roster was released, Reed wasn't on it.

Maybe it was that collapse. Maybe it was the injuries he dealt with all season. Then again, it could be something else, but here's what we can state with confidence.

Mr. Blankenship needs to work on his coverage skills, but if he stays on his current path, the Pro Bowl nods will come. The fans are already watching based on what we saw last season.

Jalen Carter, defensive tackle

Who are we kidding? You had to know that this was coming. If Jalen Carter isn't on this list, it needs to be thrown out entirely. This young man has a bright future ahead of him.

Okay, so he hit a rookie wall. We'd venture to state he has never played as much football as he played this season. He cooled late, but he scored TDs. He blocked field goal attempts. He came dangerously close to intercepting an intentional spike.

Feast your eyes on a member of the Pro Football Writers of America's All-Rookie Team. Carter has arrived, and he isn't going anywhere. He'll make a few Pro Bowls before he calls it a career.
