Well, as has been the case since Week 11 in Arrowhead Stadium, the Philadelphia Eagles took some time before figuring out they were playing a football game. In Week 14, in prime time, we got a little 'old school' and 'new school' flavor.

Philly's most recent regular-season game doubled as Fletcher Cox's 185th in an Eagles jersey. It's Jalen Carter's twelfth. They combined for a big play.

Watch this one. Appreciate the beauty.

Eagles rookie Jalen Carter continues his journey toward the NFL's Defensive Rookie of the Year Award.

As Philadelphia's regular season moves on, we continue to watch Fletcher Cox turn back the clock. We are also watching the early stages of the birth of an Eagles legend.

Jalen Carter's phenomenal rookie season continues. He's stacked sacks. He has forced turnovers. He has even blocked a field goal attempt on special teams.

This time around, he's the beneficiary of a Cox forced fumble. We are all witnesses. The first touchdown of his NFL career is one to remember. Scoring that TD versus the hated Cowboys makes this one all the more special.

There's a ton of football left to play at the time of this story's publishing. Let's hope this is the spark that gets the Eagles' engine going.
