Well you had to know this was coming. We're making our picks on all 17 games.

And, just like that, half of May is behind us. We look forward to the coming dates on the pro football's schedule. The Spring league meeting is scheduled for May 20th-22nd in Nashville. A coach accelerator will also be held. The Philadelphia Eagles will shift their attention to OTAs (organized team activities) at the end of May. Mandatory minicamp runs from June 4th through June 6th.

Speaking of schedules... May 15th has given us another. We have long known who Philly's opponents were for the coming season. Now, we are aware of the dates and times.

The NFL Network's schedule reelease was must-see television for any self-respecting football nerd. Now, we try our hand at something else we view as being 'mandatory'... game by game predictions.

With the dates and times of every Eagles game revealed, we make predictions on the outcomes.

As is the case every season, our great country's greatest game figures to overwhelm us with surprises and gut-wrenching moments. Good gracious! We can't wait, but since we have to, we decided to try our hand at something we figured you have probably already done.

We pulled out the schedule and wrote Ws and Ls next to each game. We wound up with a playoff team. Here's a way too early guess on how the Eagles' coming campaign will turn out.

Week 1 - Eagles vs Green Bay Packers

Friday, September 6th at 8:20 pm EST (Peacock)
Venue: Corinthians Arena, São Paulo, Brazil

Philly opens the regular season on a Friday. For the first time in their 92 years of playing football, Brazil will provide the backdrop.

The Green Bay Packers are the opponent, and they grew up a lot this past postseason. Still, Philly is the more experienced and better team. The Eagles should win and they will.

Final score: Eagles 24 - Packers 20

Week 2 - Eagles vs Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football

Monday, September 16th at 8:15 pm EST
Lincoln Financial Field

Kirk Cousins has often had his way with the Birds in both Washington and Minnesota. He's 6-5 versus Philly in his career, but he has lost the past two games. How about we make that three straight losses?

The Falcons are home to plenty of young talent, but Philly has a more seasoned team and a potential all-star at every position. Experience tells the tale here. This one is in primetime on Monday Night Football. Jason Kelce will be a part of the pregame broadcast.

Final score: Eagles 23 - Falcons 13

Week 3 - Eagles at New Orleans Saints

Sunday, Sept 22nd at 1 p.m. EST
Caesars Superdome

Three of the NFC South's teams are unimpressive. The Saints are one of those unimpressive franchises.

They're adding some young talent. They'll be good eventually, but they aren't going anywhere with Derek Carr or Spencer Rattler, at least not this season.

Final score: Eagles 24 - Saints 16

Week 4 - Eagles at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Sunday, Sept 29th at 1 pm EST
Raymond James Stadium

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are so freaking annoying. Maybe it's those past three losses in the playoffs, but whatever the reason, we just don't like these guys.

We need a win here for our emotional health.

Final score: Eagles 23 - Buccaneers 16

Week 5 - BYE

Philly gets a week off, but dang, it comes early!

Week 6 - Eagles vs Cleveland Browns

Sunday, October 13th at 1 pm EST
Lincoln Financial Field

These two historic franchises don't play each other often, but when they have, the games have been tough. The Browns lead the all-time series by a 32-17-1 margin. Cleveland won the most recent meeting in 2020, but the Birds took five straight before that.

Here the pendulum swings back in Philly's favor. The game is in Philly. The crowd will be raucous.

The Browns aren't going to back down, but the home team gets the W as the Birds take what could be a high-scoring affair.

Final score: Eagles 27 - Browns 24

Week 7 - Eagles at New York Giants

Sunday, Oct 20th at 1 pm EST
MetLife Stadium

We promise you a sweep. We stand by that statement. The Giants cause some issues early. Philly pulls away in the second half thanks in part to one heck of a Saquon Barkley revenge game. He scores twice in this one.

Final score: Eagles 34 - Giants 20

Week 8 - Eagles at Cincinnati Bengals

Sunday, Oct 27th at 4:25 pm EST
Paycor Stadium

The Bengals are another of those teams that you think Philly should beat every time they play them, but the Birds haven't beaten Cincy since the 2000 season. Since then, they have met five times.

That has resulted in three losses and two ties. Gosh... a tie feels like a waste of three hours.

Final Score: Eagles 20 - Bengals 27

Week 9 - Eagles vs Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday Night Football

Sunday, November 3rd at 8:20 pm EST
Lincoln Financial Field

Doug Pederson's return to Lincoln Financial Field in 2022 was unsuccessful. The Birds won a close one thanks to some timely highlight-reel moments on defense. Expect history to repeat itself in this one.

Philly won four of the seven games these two teams have played. The Jags won the first three meetings. The Eagles have taken the past four.

The home team gets out to a fast start in this one, and their defense stalls a late Jags rally attempt. Jake Elliott makes four field goals.

Final score: Eagles 26 - Jags 20

Week 10 - Eagles at Dallas Cowboys

Sunday, Nov 10th at 4:25 pm EST
AT&T Stadium

Finally... They get it done.

The Eagles haven't beaten Dallas in Arlington since 2017. We have no reason to believe they'll do so this year, but what the heck? We're betting on the Birds anyway.

The guys in green finally break the jinx (but, by way of a defensive battle). Jake Elliott's last-second field goal is the difference.

Final score: Eagles 20 - Cowboys 17

Week 11 - Eagles vs Washington Commanders on Thursday Night Football

Thursday, November 14th at 8:15 pm EST
Lincoln Financial Field

Simply put, the Eagles take a home game versus a team that we fear will be very good eventually but isn't very good right now.

This one is a fun time for the home team and its fans who are attending.

Final score: Eagles 27 - Commanders 16

Week 12 - Eagles at Los Angeles Rams on Sunday Night Football

Sunday, November 24th at 8:20 pm EST
SoFi Stadium

We have no idea of what to expect from the Rams other than to say we believe they'll make the playoffs as a Wild Card team. The 49ers win the NFC West, but the scrappy Rams win 11 games. They lose a shootout at home to Philly though...

Final score: Eagles 34 - Rams 30

Week 13 - Eagles at Baltimore Ravens

Sunday, December 1st at 4:25 pm EST
M&T Bank Stadium

Every season has its heartbreak (or a couple of them). We fear this setting will provide the backdrop.

The Ravens tend to shrink in the playoffs, but they're a machine during the regular season. This one gets ugly, and it gets ugly quickly. Philly tacks on two scores late.

Final score: Eagles 20 - Ravens 30

Week 14 - Eagles vs Carolina Panthers

Sunday, December 8th at 1 pm EST
Lincoln Financial Field

The last time these two met, the game was in Charlotte. Philly's offense struggled in that one, but two interceptions by Darius Slay, a blocked punt by T.J. Edwards, and some late-game heroics snatched victory from the jaws of defeat. Steven Nelson helped seal things with a late interception. This time, we're expecting more offensive production.

Jalen Hurts has come a long way since then. So has DeVonta Smith and Dallas Goedert, and now, look. There's also A.J. Brown and Saquon Barkley.

Philly cruises in this one thanks to one of their most complete games they'll play this season.

Final score: Eagles 34 - Carolina 16

Week 15 - Eagles vs Pittsburgh Steelers

Sunday, Dec 15th at 4:25 pm EST
Lincoln Financial Field

The cross-state Steelers... Once upon a time, Philly and Pittsburgh joined forces to form the 'Steagles'. We're a long, long way from when that happened. Heck... Most of us weren't alive...

Eagles vs Steelers is always a memorable affair. You'd think the Black and Gold would have owned this series, but Philly leads the all-time tally by a 49-29-3 margin.

The Birds win as the home team as they did in 2022. Heck... Just for kicks, we're predicting the same score. The Eagles' defense racks up five sacks in this one.

Final score: Eagles 35 - Steelers 13

Week 16 - Eagles at Washington Commanders

Sunday, Dec 22nd at 1 pm EST
FedEx Field

Those pesky Commanders... They win when they shouldn't. The games are always too close for comfort.

Don't ask us why, but we feel like Zach Ertz and Olamide Zaccheaus are going to go off here. That isn't all. It feels like the Eagles are going to turn the ball over at the most inopportune time.

Final score: Eagles 23- Commanders 27

Week 17 - Eagles vs Dallas Cowboys

Sunday, Dec 29th at 4:25 pm EST
Lincoln Financial Field

Since Dak Prescott's arrival, the Cowboys have been tough to put away. The Eagles haven't won in Arlington since 2017, but they've held serve at home.

This time, unfortunately, the friendly confines of The Linc won't be enough. The so-called America's Team wins an ugly and gut-wrenching clash that sends Birds fans home upset.

Final score: Eagles 20 - Cowboys 27

Week 18 - Eagles vs New York Giants

TBD
Lincoln Financial Field

We'll make this short and sweet. The Eagles have owned the Giants in this series minus the occasional blunder here and there, last year's regular-season finale for instance. This season, expect a sweep, one that includes a blowout win in Philadelphia.

Final score: Eagles 31 - Giants 10

Final 2024 - 2025 Eagles regular-season record: 13-4
Result:
Winners of the NFC East - The top-seeded playoff team in the NFC
