Jot these names down as potential free-agent options for the Philadelphia Eagles if you haven't taken the time to do so already.

Javon Kinlaw, interior defensive lineman, 49ers

Well, the 'Whiners' stole our best young defensive tackle last offseason. It's only right that we return the favor by stealing one of theirs.

Maybe Javon Kinlaw is a late bloomer. Despite being a top-15 pick by San Francisco in 2020, it's hard to remember anything he did during his first three seasons in the league that would make us believe he's consistently dominant. Then, he showed up and showed out during a contract season this past year.

Fletcher Cox doesn't hand out home-town discounts, and NBC Sports Philadelphia's Reuben Frank believes Fletch's days in the Midnight Green could be numbered. Coaches always believe they can pull something out of a guy that another can't. As part of a rotation, this could be a nice project for the new Eagles D-line coach, Clint Hurtt.

Worth mentioning: We'll take Daquan Jones as a consolation prize if none of this is an option. He finished the most recent NFL season with 19 QB pressures on just 135 pass-rushing snaps according to Pro Football Focus, and he also logged 2.5 sacks. Jones is well past 30 years of age though.

Dorance Armstrong, EDGE, Cowboys

Yeah... We know... We know... You hate former Dallas Cowboys... etcetera... etcetera... But, it's doubtful the Eagles will land Danielle Hunter, Za'Darius Smith, Jonathan Greenard, and the like. They've never seemed to have any real interest in Jadeveon Clowney, one of the NFL's great mercenaries, so that second-tier of free-agent pass rushers seems like a nice pool to swim in.

That brings us to guys like Josh Uche, Leonard Floyd, and Andrew Van Ginkel. Haason Reddick's future rests in football limbo. The Eagles need to pay Josh Sweat, but if they can work that out, Dorance Armstrong seems like a nice companion piece. He and Kellen Moore were also simultaneous members of the Dallas Cowboys organization for five NFL seasons (2018-2022). That could mean nothing. It could mean a lot.
