Best NFL prop bets for Commanders vs. Eagles in NFL Week 4

The Eagles have been dominant and are suddenly one of the best rushing offenses in football, so we'll back their run-game and No. 1 receiver with prop bets against the Commanders.

Ron Rivera’s Washington Commanders probably wish that they were still playing against teams like the Arizona Cardinals and Denver Broncos instead of facing the Buffalo Bills and this week the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Eagles looked dominant against the Buccaneers and at 3-0 still may not have played their best game.

Last season, the Commanders were the first team to beat Philly, but that’s not going to be the case this season. Instead of just backing the Eagles against the spread, I have a few great props to cash in even more on one of the best teams in the NFL.

Best NFL Prop Bets for Commanders vs. Eagles

  • D’Andre Swift over 64.5 rushing yards
  • AJ Brown over 5.5 receptions
  • Sam Howell Interception

D’Andre Swift over 64.5 rushing yards

The Eagles are suddenly the most run-heavy offense in the entire NFL. They are running the ball 37.7 times a game and Swift is a huge part of that. Swift leads the team with 45 carries for 308 yards and is averaging over 100 yards a game.

That average is skewed by his massive performance against the Vikings, but even last week with Kenneth Gainwell back healthy he ran for 130 yards on 16 carries. This is becoming the identity of the Eagles.

AJ Brown over 5.5 receptions

DeVonta Smith was starting to look like the No. 1 receiver in Philly until AJ Brown threw a fit on the sidelines.

Then, last week, Brown finished the game with nine catches to Smith’s four. Brown will be targeted a lot this week too and the Commanders definitely don’t have anyone who can cover him. Their best bet is Emmanuel Forbes, their first-round pick, but Brown has 60 pounds on him, so that won’t go well.

When the Commanders lost to the Bills, Stefon Diggs had eight catches for 111 yards and no other Bill had more than two grabs.

Sam Howell Interception

There are a few things that Sam Howell does not do. He does not sense pressure well and he does not give up on a play.

That sounds like another quarterback that just played for the Commanders. Last week, Howell threw four interceptions and was reminiscent of Carson Wentz.

He’ll turn the ball over at least once this week with the Eagles defensive line making his afternoon miserable.
