Best players remaining for the Eagles after Day 1 of the NFL Draft
In Round 1 of every NFL Draft, teams are looking for game changers and hopefully guys with Pro Bowl talent. Round 2 always brings a little intrigue. Some say this is where the meat of rosters is built. During Nick Sirianni's coaching era, the Philadelphia Eagles have landed Landon Dickerson, Milton Williams, Cam Jurgens, Nakobe Dean, Tyler Steen, and Sydney Brown during the second day of three selection meetings. You get the drift, right? Guys selected on Day 2 are expected to contribute, and more often than not, they're expected to contribute immediately.
Night one of the 2024 draft was one to remember. The Eagles landed the draft's best safety, Quinyon Mitchell. The best part of the deal is they didn't have to trade up to acquire him.
We turn the page from Thursday to Friday. They Eagles still have work to do. Let's hope for the best.
Philly found guys like DeSean Jackson, Brian Dawkins, and LeSean McCoy on Day 2. Might there be a D-Jax, Weapon X, or Shady in this bunch? Time will tell. Here's what we can guarantee. Birds fans everywhere will be glued to the TV like they were during Round 1's action.
Here are the best remaining options for the Philadelphia Eagles at every position in the NFL Draft.
Philly walks into Day 2 needing edge rushers, an offensive tackle, and help at linebacker (among other things). We'll see how things go. We're in luck. There's still plenty of talent left for them to choose from.
Here are a handful of guys at every position (minus the specialists) worth considering.
