He may have been a kicker, but there aren't many men who can say they're in the same class as Philadelphia Eagles legend David Akers. He earned his wings many moons ago.

He's a member of the NFL 2000s All-Decade Team, the Philadelphia Eagles 75th Anniversary Team, and the Eagles Hall of Fame. Up until November 20th, he was also the owner of a record.

Well, he's the owner of a few, but we're referencing the franchise standard for most regular-season starts. Welp... Records are made to be broken. That's no longer the case. You can thank Brandon Graham for that.

Brandon Graham sets a new benchmark, the most games played in an Eagles jersey.

B.G. tied David's mark on Monday Night Football at 188 games played in an Eagles jersey. Six days later, the author of the greatest strip sack in Super Bowl history reset the table. He now takes that record for himself.

Drafted 13th overall in 2010, he has seen the highs and the lows, but he kept at it and is now a shoo-in for his spot in the Eagles Hall of Fame. He is one of three Eagles who can say they have played for Andy Reid, Chip Kelly, Doug Pederson, and Nick Sirianni.

Congrats on the record 55! How's this for poetry? He would have thought he would have reached this plateau while wearing kelly green?

In some ways that makes this all the more special. You simply can't make this stuff up!
