We know who the Philadelphia Eagles' 14 opponents are for the coming 2024-2025 NFL season. It would be nice if we knew when and what time they were playing everyone, but we've done this long enough to know the drill. League offices are being tight-lipped about this, but then again, aren't they always?

The schedule release is coming this month. That's what we've been told. That's all we've been told. Now, that we think about it, that's all we're ever told, right?

The Birds have a tough test ahead of them. Everything begins with the first-ever game played in Brazil during Week 1's kickoff. The Green Bay Packers are the competition. That we do know. We also know the identities of the other 13 teams standing in the way of another postseason berth.

As always, Philly tackles each member of the NFC East twice. They also face each member of the AFC North and the NFC South and have games peppered in versus the L.A. Rams, New Orleans Saints, and Jacksonville Jaguars. Nothing will come easy, but that's the point. Pro football prides itself on its constant pursuit of parity.

Mike Florio of NBC Sports' Pro Football Talk told us early that he believed the schedule would be announced during the week of Monday, May 13th. Then came another report.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Ben Fischer was told that teams were informed on Tuesday, May 7th that the official schedule release was expected to occur on Wednesday, May 15th. Patience proved to be a virtue. We finally were given an announcement. League offices approved an official announcement, and pro football's schedule release is indeed slotted for May 15th.

Update: Two Netflix games on Christmas?

According to Puck News, Netflix is in negotiations to carry two NFL games scheduled for December 25th. This isn't official yet, but it appears it soon will be.

Update (may 13th): The first game of the season is set. The Ravens battle the Chiefs.

Updates (May 15th) - Jordan Schultz reports the Eagles will host the Atlanta Falcons in Week 2 on Monday Night Football. The beloved Jason Kelce will be a part of the pregame show.

Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports the Eagles visit the New Orleans Saints in Week 3 and host the hated New York Giants in Week 18 for their regular-season finale. Trust us on this one. we won't miss either game.
