And, as quickly as the Philadelphia Eagles traded up from the 50th selection to the 40th to nab Cooper DeJean (and gave up the 53rd selection in the process), they traded back twice in what was an interesting third round. Valuable draft capital was added in the process.

Philly's second and final selection of the NFL Drat's second night came. They finally decided to make a selection. They added a young man that new defensive coordinator Vic Fangio said 'he wanted to coach'. This time, they add talent to the defensive line.

The Eagles add Jalyx Hunt to the nest with the 94th overall selection.

With the 94th overall selection, Philly adds a project, defensive lineman Jalyx Hunt. He comes to the nest by way of Houston Christian. He joins a group of edge rushers that includes Bryce Huff, Josh Sweat, Nolan Smith, and Brandon Graham.

Have a seat. Getcha popcorn ready. This is yet another intriguing addition.

Hunt is a six-foot-four, 252-pounder that runs the 40-yard dash in 4.64 seconds. NFL.com's Lance Zierlein gives him a grade of 6.14, meaning he's a "good backup with the potential to develop into a starter". Since 2022, he has stacked 78 QB pressures, 14 sacks, and 14 additional QB hits
14 sacks during his final two seasons at the collegiate level.

With that, night two is over for Philly. They are currently scheduled to make seven picks on Day 3.

They own the 120th, 123rd, and 132nd picks in Round 4. They own three fifth-round selections: the 161st (via Tampa Bay), the 171st, and the 172nd. Their final selection is the 210th overall. That one falls in the sixth round. Those last three are all compensatory picks.

Philly is rolling. Three picks are in the books. This is shaking up to be another impressive draft class.
