Cue the hashtags and turn on those notifications. Now, the fun begins. The Philadelphia Eagles shift their attention to the regular season, and one of the world's most loyal fan bases will be watching.

Everyone has their theories on how things will go. We are no different. We all placed our wages a while ago. We're thinking a 13-4 finish sounds reasonable.

Then again, maybe we better do the math again because we seemingly have shortchanged our beloved Eagles. It appears a more famous fan has some loftier expectations.

NBA star Karl-Anthony Towns predicts an undefeated Philadelphia Eagles regular season.

By virtue of the New England Patriots being unable to seal the deal in Super Bowl XLII, the 1972 Miami Dolphins remain the only NFL team to raise the Vince Lombardi Trophy at the end of a Super Bowl with an undefeated record.

Minnesota Timberwolves star Karl-Anthony Towns was born in Edison, New Jersey. He attended St. Joe's High School and is a lifelong Eagles fan. If he has his way, the Birds will have a great chance of becoming the second.

He recently visited The Rich Eisen Show and discussed his beloved Eagles. He also made the boldest of bold claims. How does a 17-0 record sound?

Yeah, we can dig it, but again, 17-0 doesn't mean a whole heck of a lot unless Philly closes the show by winning it all in pro football's final game, one scheduled for Sunday, February 9 in New Orleans, Caesar's Superdrom is the backdrop.

The road won't be easy. Philly begins their campaign in Brazil and along the way they tackle every member of the NFC South and AFC North. Their third game is on the road versus the Saints. Hopefully, they'll take some mental notes because if KAT is right and Philly plays up to its potential, a return trip in February is very possible.
