We made it! We're officially on the other side now. The 4 pm EST deadline has come and gone. Final roster cuts are complete. The Philadelphia Eagles have completed their roster build... for now. Another box has been checked.

We were certain about 47 guys (and we nailed it). We're sure you did too. Next up... We begin piecing a 16-man practice squad together. Laekin Vakalahi is the 17th guy. He earns an international exemption.

There weren't many surprises. Changes can still be made, but for now, we're happy with the roster that was announced.

Here's a look at the 53 players who have been added to the Eagles 2024 regular-season roster.

Ladies and gentlemen, meet your 2024-25 Philadelphia Eagles!

The specialists (3): Jake Elliott, Braden Mann and Rick Lovato

No one should be shocked here. None of these guys have had anything to worry about all spring or summer.

The quarterbacks (3): Jalen Hurts, Kenny Pickett, and Tanner McKee

Again, you'll find no surprises here. The NFLPA's recent ruling means McKee must be kept on the roster (but, that was probably what Philly was going to do anyway).

The running backs (3): Saquon Barkley, Kenneth Gainwell, Will Shipley

Stop us when we begin to bore you. The only shock here would have been if the Eagles elected to keep four tailbacks.

The wide receivers (5): A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, Jahan Dotson, Britain Covey, Johnny Wilson

A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith scratched and clawed their way to a roster spot (just kidding).

After weeks of debate and Jahan Dotson's addition, we're more confident about the depth here.

The tight ends (2): Dallas Goedert, Grant Calcaterra

All we're saying is this. Can we get a few more passes thrown in Dallas Goedert's direction? We've been waiting on that 1,000-yard receiving season for a while now.

The offensive line: Jordan Mailata, Landon Dickerson, Cam Jurgens, Mekhi Becton, Lane Johnson, Tyler Steen, Trevor Keegan, Darian Kinnard, Fred Johnson

The starters were known. The reserves look good. Jeff Stoutland University is certainly thriving.

Defensive line: Bryce Huff, Brandon Graham, Thomas Booker, Milton Williams, Marlon Tuipulotu, Moro Ojomo, Jalen Carter, Jordan Davis

Some are worried about this group. All have done some nice things during camp and the preseason.

Fletcher Cox is gone, so it's up to Jalen Carter and Jordan Davis now. The three guys behind them are also pretty good.

We'll see how things go in Brazil.

Linebackers: Nakobe Dean, Josh Sweat, Nolan Smith, Devin White, Patrick Johnson, Zack Baun, Jeremiah Trotter Jr., Ben VanSumeren, Jalyx Hunt

An always-criticized unit on the Eagles' depth chart (and one that is constantly forgotten about by the brass structure). This is the best we have felt about this unit in a long time.

Cornerbacks: Darius Slay, Quinyon Mitchell, Cooper DeJean, Kelee Ringo, Isaiah Rodgers, Eli Ricks

Everyone is excited about this group (and for good reason). There's a perennial Pro Bowler, two brand-spanking-new draft picks, and a few young guys who should be very impressive.

Safeties: C.J. Gardner-Johnson, Reed Blankenship, James Bradberry, Avonte Maddox, Tristin McCollum

Reed Blankenship and C.J. Gardner-Johnson never had anything to worry about. This unit will be shuffled when Sydney Brown is added to this list as soon as he's medically eligible to return.
