The Eagles will be without second-year lineman Cam Jurgens for at least four weeks. He's been added to Philly's injured reserve.

The Philadelphia Eagles have a difficult task on their hands on Sunday when they face the Los Angeles Rams in Inglewood, California. Battling any NFL team on the road is a tough ask. Battling an NFL team that fields one of the greatest defensive players in the game's history is doubly so.

That isn't even the full story. Try this on for size. The Birds are looking to tackle all of this with their starting right guard on the shelf.

The Philadelphia Eagles add Cam Jurgens to the team's injured reserve ahead of their game versus the L.A. Rams.

Unfortunately, the news is worse than we thought. Friday's injury report ruled Fletcher Cox, Marlon Tuipulotu, Sydney Brown, and Cam Jurgens out of the lineup for Sunday's game.

On Saturday, we received a favorable report on Britain Covey. He's been taken off of the injury report and is expected to play, but the news on Cam Jurgens wasn't as favorable.

Jurgens heads to the Eagles injured reserve. That means he will miss a minimum of the next four games of action. Philly's I.R. also houses Shaun Bradley, Nakobe Dean, Roderick Johnson, Avonte Maddox, and Zech McPhearson.

Sua Opeta will start in place of the injured Jurgens. Keep an eye on him if Aaron Donald lines up across from him. So far in his career, Opeta has appeared in 29 games with four starts. This will be unquestionably the most difficult matchup he has had to face in his career.
