We're a week away from the NFL Draft and the Philadelphia Eagles will look to do what they did in 2023 and put together one of the best draft classes in the league.

This time, they hold the No. 22 overall pick. Don't be surprised if Howie Roseman makes some moves come draft day, but as of now the best we can do is assume they'll make a pick in that spot. If they do wait until 22nd overall, it's tough to predict exactly which players will be left for them to choose from. What we can do is predict what position they'll draft.

Let's find out which position oddsmakers think they'll address with their first pick, no matter when the pick ends up taking place.

What position will Eagles select with first pick in NFL Draft?

The oddsmakers believe there's three realistic directions the Eagles may go in with their first pick.

The first, and most likely, possibility is for them to draft an offensive lineman. At +150 odds, there's a 40% chance they go that route. That doesn't necessarily mean they draft a center to replace Jason Kelce, they could go offensive guard or tackle instead, but it would make sense, especially with a player like Jackson Powers-Johnson potentially available in that spot.

The next possibility on the list as defensive back. Their secondary was the weakest part of their team in 2023, giving up 255.7 passing yards per game, the third most in the NFL. A player like Cooper DeJean from Iowa could be a great fit for the Eagles if he's available when they make their selection.

Finally, a defensive lineman is third on the odds list. The Eagles lost Hassan Reddick to free agency and Fletcher Cox to retirement this year, so drafting an edge rusher or defensive lineman in the first round would go a long way in replacing them.
