The weather is warm, even when there is overcast. It feels like the sun is shining a little more brightly these days (even if it isn't). Spring has brought both smiles and the promise that another season of Philadelphia Eagles football approaches. Training camp comes during the summer. So does the preseason. Can you feel the adrenaline flowing? We sure can.

It doesn't matter where we go. It doesn't matter who we talk to or where we end up. At some point, mentions of the Birds trickle into the conversation.

Philly's preseason roster carries 90 men, 89 on the active roster plus one special exemption, second-year guard Josh Sills. Everything that occurs between now and September is about one task, trimming the current squad to the initial 53-man regular-season ensemble and a 16-man practice squad. Training camp will help us do that.

Here's a little background on Eagles training camp including past locations and a few fun facts,

It's one of the most anticipated junctures of the NFL's offseason schedule for every franchise. Everything in the football universe hits the pause button when training camp begins. Philadelphia hasn't released its official schedule yet, but they are expected to report at the end of July. Every Eagles fan can tell you stories. As always it should be fun.

The Philadelphia Eagles have one goal in mind above all others, get back to the Super Bowl and win it. It won't be easy. They're no longer the hunters. They're the hunted. There are also all of those Super Bowl hangover theories.

Still, if you're going to place your faith in any Eagles team with the hope that they'll be able to deny the odds, why not this one? We're all in... as always. Here's to another phenomenal campaign in 2023.
