Eagles vs. Bills: Buffalo stars not named Josh Allen who hope to ruin Week 12 for Philly
Here are five Bills to watch when the Eagles are operating on offense.
Believe it or not, the Buffalo Bills play a little defense too. They don't employ a coordinator on that side of the ball. Their head coach, Sean McDermott is one of the better minds in the game.
Senior assistant Al Holcomb and McDermott have their hands full with a stocked Eagles offense. Brian Johnson will need to be on his A-game though.
6. Greg Rousseau, EDGE
This former ACC Defensive Rookie of the Year is enjoying a fine season with Buffalo so far: 26 total tacks, four sacks, eight tackles for a loss of yardage, three pass breakups, and a forced fumble.
7. Von Miller, EDGE
The future Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee is still doing his thing. He missed the first four games of the season and didn't register any defensive stats in Week 11. He also has yet to register a sack, but let's be honest.
It wouldn't be wise to ignore this guy like he isn't a factor.
8. Ed Oliver, defensive tackle
The interior of the Eagles' offensive line has its hands full with the combination of Tim Settle and this guy. Ed Oliver is a six-foot-one, 287-pound handful. He has already notched 35 tackles including 11 TFLs and six sacks on the season.
9. Jordan Poyer, safety
Jordan Poyer might be best known in Philly for being one of those guys that Philly gave up on too soon. He's a very talented safety who can do whatever is asked of him.
So far, in 2023, he has notched 64 tackles, a sack, two TFLs, and two pass breakups. Philly will need to know where he is at all times.
10. Rasul Douglas, cornerback
From one former Eagle to another. The latter, Rasul Douglas, figures to draw some A.J. Brown duty.
Douglas is still getting used to upstate New York as he was acquired in a trade by the Bills with the Green Bay Packers. Last week, he picked off Zach Wilson. We hope he fails to do so versus Jalen Hurts.
