Who would have thought? The Philadelphia Eagles own an 11-4 record with two games remaining on the regular-season schedule. Fans are panicking, but their final two games are winnable. On Saturday, the hated Dallas Cowboys did them a solid.

The Cowboys outlasted the Detroit Lions in a Saturday night thriller. With that, the NFC North Champions fall to 11-5. Philly can earn the second seed in the NFC Playoffs simply by winning out.

One day remains in 2023. One game remains in 2023 before Philly finishes their regular-season campaign with a finale in New Jersey versus the rival New York Giants.

Questions will be answered. Jonathan Gannon and his Arizona Cardinals are coming to town. And, guess what? Philly's defense gets some reinforcements.

Eagles injury news: Avonte Maddox is back.

The news we expected came. Avonte Maddox has been elevated from the injured reserve to the active roster. We already knew on Friday that Darius Slay would miss another game.

The Eagles also announced that Zach Cunningham (knee) had been downgraded to doubtful and Albert Okwuegbunam (hamstring) had been downgraded to out after both were questionable on Friday.

The Eagles also announced that linebacker Brandon Smith had been elevated from the practice squad to the active roster for Week 17's game shortly before Albert O. was placed on the injured reserve.

The Cardinals are without wide receiver Marquise Brown (heel), defensive tackle Leki Fotu (hand) and defensive end Jonathan Ledbetter (knee). Quarterback Kyler Murray (illness), linebacker Owen Pappoe (ankle), defensive back Bobby Price (quadricep), and cornerback Garrett Williams (knee) are all questionable.

The Eagles and Cardinals will announce their game-day inactives 90 minutes before kickoff. Those updates (and any injury updates will be documented below).
