Eagles vs. Giants Week 18 injury tracker, inactives list: Four starters sit the finale out
One more ride... That's all that separates us from the postseason. For the Philadelphia Eagles, that means the opponent iis the hated New York Giants. Despite Philly's winning streak over Big Blue, five consecutive triumphs to be exact, the venom is just as intense as ever.
The hope is the good guys can generate some momentum ahead of the coming NFL Playoffs. The Birds, in all likelihood seem destined for the fifth seed.
The Eagles and Giants release their gameday inactives
Philly and the G-Men release their gameday inactives. Here's a look at who both sides are sitting out. The Eagles will tackle New York minus four starters. We knew Darius Slay and DeVonta Smith were inactive. It appears that Philly has elected to deem Fletcher Cox and D'Andre Swift as healthy scratches.
The Giants name their inactives as well. Notable absences include wide receiver Parris Campbell and cornerback Deonte Banks. Here's their full list.
Update: The news isn't good. A.J. Brown suffers a knee injury.
A.J. Brown entered the locker room with 1:38 remaining in the first quarter, this following a lost fumble on Philly's second offensive drive. Click here for the story. An official team report released just before the second half states he's questionable to return.
Update: Jalen Hurts is injured too?
Jalen Hurts injured his middle finger on the Eagles' third offensive drive. He remained in the game to begin the third series, but he's in obvious discomfort.
