The Eagles are in desperate need of a bounce back victory after dropping four straight amidst a difficult schedule.

Philadelphia will be in a good spot to get back on track against the New York Giants as nearly two touchdown favorites. The drop in competition will help the Eagles, so how can the team pounce on the Giants and get a much needed victory? Here are our best player props for the Christmas Day meeting in Philadelphia.

Best prop bets for Giants vs. Eagles in Week 16

  • D'Andre Swift OVER 66.5 rushing yards
  • Dallas Goedert OVER 3.5 receptions
  • Saquon Barkley UNDER 53.5 rushing yards

D'Andre Swift OVER 66.5 rushing yards

Swift continues to be the bellcow back for the Eagles, and given the likely positive game script the team will be in, I expect him to have a high volume game.

Swift has cleared this mark in six of 13 games as the featured back (he only had one carry in Week 1), so this is a fairly average mark from him, but I do believe that the matchup sets up well for him.

The Giants defense is 25th in EPA/Rush this season, and the Eagles can give Jalen Hurts' arm a bit of a reprieve after a bout of some questionable decision making by leaning on its explosive running back.

Dallas Goedert OVER 3.5 receptions

Goedert has returned from injury to his featured role as the No. 1 tight end in the Ealges offense, catching four passes in each of the last two games. On the year, he has 65 targets through 11 gmaes and 46 catches.

The Giants defense has been stout against explosive passes, and it may be wise to feature Goedert underneath with the likely lead the Eagles will have.

It's a pricey prop, but I think this is among the safest on the board.

Saquon Barkley UNDER 53.5 rushing yards

Barkley has been boom-or-bust since Tommy DeVito took over, rushing for 66 or more yards in three games but below 50 in two others.

While the Eagles defense has its issues this season, it's been able to win at the point of attack this season, right around the league average in success rate against the run.

We saw Big Blue abandon the run when behind as recently as last week in the team's 24-6 loss ot the Saints. In that game, Barkley had only nine carries for 14 yards.

Catching nearly two touchdowns, the Giants are likely going to play from behind and with that will come at the expense of high volume for Barkley.
