I am here to let you know I am not one of those people pushing the panic button. Are the Eagles in a rough stretch? Absolutely, but every team goes through this. Even the 49ers lost three-straight games at one point this season.
Christmas Day is a perfect chance for them to bounce back when they take on the New York Giants. Oddsmakers have them heavily favored so they're likely going to win the game, but the question is by how much?
In this article, I'm going to attempt to do the improbable and predict the exact final score of the game. Let's take a look at the odds and then I'll dive into it.

The Giants are dead last in the NFL in Net Yards per Play at -1.4, with the next worst team being the Commanders at -0.9. They're also 31st in both EPA per Play and success rate with their defense ranking in the bottom 10 in most metrics. The Eagles may not be playing as well as they did last year, but they're still leagues above the Giants.
But then what about the total? I'm cautious to be the UNDER in any game involving the Eagles due to how their defense has been playing. Most importantly, they're dead last in the NFL in opponent third down conversion rate, allowing teams to convert 47.69% of third downs against them. It's hard to keep an opposing offense from scoring when you struggle to get off the field.
So, I think the Eagles win and cover this big spread, but I also wouldn't be surprised if the Giants score enough for the OVER to hit.
