It's time to get that bitter taste caused by Monday Night Football out of our mouths. We've been waiting all week for Sunday afternoon. Months ago, we would have jotted this game down as an easy Philadelphia Eagles win. Now, we aren't so sure. Don't look now, but the New Orleans Saints are good again.

Now, it's a small sample size, and one of their wins came by way of beating the Carolina Panthers. Everyone is supposed to beat Carolina, right? Last week's win has our attention though.

The Saints walked into Arlington and whooped the Cowboys for three hours. Here we sit. New Orleans is 2-0. They have scored over 40 points twice.

Game Details

None of the Eagles' previous clashes with the Saints have anything to do with this one, but let's recap anyway. These two have met 35 times, and the Birds hold a 19-16 edge.

Philadelphia has taken three of the past six meetings, but all those wins came at Lincoln Financial Field. The Eagles also lost the most recent meeting at home at The Linc. They have lost three straight in New Orleans with the last road win coming in 2007.

Yes, this game is on the road in the Caesars Superdome. We don't expect any southern hospitality.
