Jalen Hurts and AJ Brown serve up a beauty in Eagles' first test of the season

Jalen Hurts to AJ Brown usually works, and they served up a beauty on their first TD connection of the regular season.

The second-longest TD pass of Jalen Hurts' career was a thing of beauty. After the Philadelphia Eagles and Green Bay Packers broke for Anitta's halftime show, these two proud franchises resumed action in the third period.

It would take less than 60 seconds for one of the scariest connections in the game to make its mark and what a mark it was. A.J. Brown walked into the locker room having hauled in three receptions for 41 yards. His fourth snare would cover 67 yards of Arena Corinthians' turf.

We mentioned this was a thing of beauty, right?

There have been ups and downs in the Eagles' first game, but there's much to love about Kellen Moore's offense.

So, let's take some inventory. We have seen motion from the Eagles' offense, something we have never seen from Nick Sirianni's scheme, and guess what? We like what we're seeing.

This Kellen Moore addition looks to be a good one. We've seen the defense bail the offense out at times. That's encouraging, but there were also too many mistakes.

We've seen Kenny Gainwell make a move or two while operating in the two-minute offense. We've seen Saquon Barkley score as both a rusher and receiver.

We've seen too many penalties and blown plays on both sides of the ball. That will need to get fixed... and quickly.

We've seen some good things that Philly can build from on both sides of the ball. So far, so good, but the most important thing right now is closing this one out with a win.
