Jalen Hurts destroys his Eagles training camp narrative with quick INT vs Packers

So much for that mistake-free training camp, huh?

We totally didn't want to jinx things, but we almost knew this would happen. Remember all of those discussions about Jalen Hurts and that mostly mistake-free training camp? Well, Darius Slay took care of that. Then, while facing a third-and-long scenario, an old nemesis reared his ugly head.

Philly's first drive of the game... A third-and-15 scenario while scrimmaging from just outside their own goal line. Jalen does what Jalen sometimes does. He tried to get it all back with one throw,

The ball winds up in the hands of Xavier McKinney. He's been on the receiving end of a Hurts toss before. We said we weren't going to miss McKinney when he left the Giants. Right now, we're wishing he didn't land in Green Bay though.

Don't worry. We were prepared for this.

The Eagles are talented enough to overcome an early turnover by Jalen Hurts.

Believe it or not, we saw this coming. In an earlier release featuring some bold predictions, we said Jalen Hurts would throw a pick, but we also said he'd overcome it and toss a few TD passes. So, might we say he's right on schedule?

A bad snap from Cam Jurgens led to a Jalen Hurts fumble on Philly's second drive. Philly's good enough to overcome a turnover, but they may want to be more careful with the ball. It doesn't matter how good any team is. If they turn the ball over too many times, they will lose.
