Jalen Hurts is obvious bet to win 2023 NFL MVP

Jalen Hurts finished second in MVP voting in 2022 behind only Patrick Mahomes and then topped his season off with one of the best performances by a quarterback in Super Bowl history.

That must mean he's first or second on the odds list to win NFL MVP, right? RIGHT?!

Wrong. In fact, he's not second, third, or even fourth on the list to win the award in 2023. Patrick Mahomes, Joe Burrow, Josh Allen, and Justin Herbert all have better odds than Hurts to be named the Most Valuable Player this season.
