Jordan Howard: Running Back

In March of the 2019 NFL offseason, Philadelphia acquired veteran running back Jordan Howard from the Chicago Bears for a 2020 sixth-round draft choice. Fans have long been split on how good of a job he did, but don't be alarmed. That sometimes happens with Eagles fans.

Howard's physical and aggressive running style made him a fan favorite very quickly, and he would run for more than 525 yards and score six rushing touchdowns in his debut season with the Birds. Sadly, things would turn, and he would be bitten by the injury bug as he only played in ten games after suffering a shoulder injury that season.

Philly let Howard walk in 2021, and he signed with the Miami Dolphins. That wouldn't lead to much, and he returned to the Eagles as a member of their practice squad following Miami's decision to waive him.

Howard's second stint in Philly ended slowly but turned out nicely. He would only see action in seven more games but was still able to produce 406 rushing yards with three touchdowns during the 2021 season.
