Sometimes, the bye week comes at just the right time for a team, and that's exactly where the Philadelphia Eagles find themselves.

A week after dropping their matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Eagles enjoyed some time off. For many players, that time is time to heal their bodies and recover from any nagging injuries, and the Eagles had a few of those.

Monday afternoon, Eagles fans got some good news on the injury front when it came to a pair of highly-necessary weapons on offense.

Star wide receiver A.J. Brown, who had been dealing with a hamstring injury since the Week 1 fallout, appears to be on track to play in Week 6 against the Cleveland Browns. As for his running mate, DeVonta Smith? All things are lining up perfectly for Smith, too, who had been recovering from a concussion.

In Week 4, when the offense was without both receivers, it was tough sledding against the Bucs. For another week in a row, it was tight end Dallas Goedert leading the way with eight targets, catching seven of them for 62 yards.

Otherwise, quarterback Jalen Hurts was attempting to piece together drives with players like Parris Campbell, Jahan Dotson and Grant Calcaterra in the passing game. Obviously, Saquon Barkley is in the mix, too.

But, the Eagles will be more than elated to have their top wide receivers back, especially after starting the season 2-2 and having a ways to go this year.

The Eagles have a favorable schedule coming up

No one could have predicted the early breakout of Jayden Daniels, who has the Washington Commanders at 4-1, but here we are. The Eagles have some work to do, but fortunately, their schedule looks good in the coming weeks.

The Browns present quite the tantalizing matchup coming out of a bye week, especially with just how bad Deshaun Watson has looked this year. That doesn't need a whole lot of explanation. The Eagles should win this one handedly.

From there, the Eagles' next three opponents have a combined record of 5-9. After the Browns, they'll face the New York Giants, Cincinnati Bengals and Jacksonville Jaguars. Out of all three of those teams, the Giants have actually put up the best fight on the defensive side of the ball. Cincinnati and Jacksonville could be in for a rough day if Philly's offense comes in healthy.

Let's say the Eagles manage to go 3-1 over the next month. That would put them at 5-3 on the year and in great position to make a run into the postseason. If this team can stay healthy, they're going to make it tough on the rest of the division down the stretch. Make no mistake about it.
