Every NFL team has played at least four games of its 17-game season. We still don't know what Haason Reddick looks like in 'legacy green'. That's because the former Philadelphia Eagles edge rusher has yet to try on New York's jersey.

Yeah, he did the selfie thing that players do when they sign their new deals. He was all smiles. We've since learned that it was a mask. Haason never had any intention of playing for the Jets unless a new extension was hammered out.

Meanwhile, the Birds' excitement over Reddick's replacement, Bryce Huff, has evaporated. Four games in, he has played 113 snaps and has two tackles to show for it.

Zero sacks... Three pressures... That's it. Nolan Smith hasn't been better. Jalyx Hunt has only played five snaps in a suddenly-anemic Eagles pass rush.

So, as you might imagine, there's been discussion about a possible swap. This can be fixed. That's what people are saying. All that needs to be done is for both Reddick and Huff to return to their original teams.

Hold your horses.

NFL rules prohibit any possibility of an Eagles and Jets player swap.

So, we did some digging. As it turns out, Haason Reddick can't return to Philly. League rules prohibit teams from trading players and trying to reacquire them by trade until at least two years have passed.

So, there we have it. Reddick is gone, and he probably won't be coming back unless his deal evaporates and he becomes a free agent. If Philly's going to fix their issues with their pass rush (or their lack of a pass rush), they'll need to find some other option. Roads to a possible reunion with Reddick all lead to a dead end.
