It all started on Saturday evening. We were trying to devise a plan for Super Bowl Sunday, seeing as we had no interest in watching the game and/or seeing either team win. Then, it hit us. Who are we kidding? No, the Philadelphia Eagles weren't among the participating teams, but it's still football. We're down! There's no way we were going to miss the game.

Thoughts like 'we hope both teams lose' and 'we have no dog in the fight' left us as a feeling settled in somewhere around the 2nd quarter - 'Wait! Are we actually chgeering for the Kansas City Chiefs?' ... 'Oh snap! We're actually cheering for the Chiefs'. - 'Well, that makes sense. That's better than seeing the San Francisco 49ers hoist the Vince Lombardi Trophy.'

Time ran out, and we saw the defeated look on the face of every Niner. Success! Yes! That was worth every penny! We've been smiling ever since, but the joyous feeling doesn't just permeate through Eagles Nation! No, no, no! Christmas has certainly come early!

Give Marshawn Lynch his honorary Eagles badge!

It can be a cesspool for negativity and anonymous threats sometimes, but social media certainly has its advantages. Recently, Marshawn Lynch put a smile on our faces.

He made sure to make life miserable for every 49ers fan he could find in Vegas. Be forewarned before checking it out. This one includes some NSFW language, but you can watch the link by clicking here.

Did you check it out? wasn't that wonderful? Now, that was 'Beast Mode'. Yes, the pun was intended.

Sure, he normally made life miserable for us whenever he was on the opposing sideline, but hey, such is life. All is forgiven now! Lynch is okay with us!

As far as we are concerned, we can hand him an Eagles jersey and a one-day contract and let him retire as a member of our family. What's that saying? Oh yeah! That's right! Any enemy of the 49ers is a friend of ours... or something like that! Oh well. You get the idea.
