We have certainly seen some stellar play from the Philadelphia Eagles at the quarterback position.

If you're one of those Philadelphia Eagles fans who are a little older, you'll remember common football phrases that we don't utter as often anymore. 'Three yards and a cloud of dust"... 'Offense sells tickets, but defense wins championships". Those theories have been replaced by more common descriptions of the way the modern game is played. How many times have you heard 'the NFL is a passing league now' or 'the best defense is sometimes a good offense'?

There's nothing more entertaining than an offense that can air it out. Andy Reid had Duce Staley, Correll Buckhalter, and Brian Westbrook at his disposal at the same time. We spent much of our time discussing that he didn't run the ball enough.

Many moons later, during the 2021 NFL season, Philly fielded the NFL's best rushing attack. You saw what happened. The leadership structure did everything in its power to transform this offense into an aerial show.

We won't complain. We landed A.J. Brown in the deal, and oh yeah, the Birds can still bully anyone when they want to run the football. Still, there's nothing like having a QB that can win a passing duel. There's nothing like the good night's sleep that comes from knowing your favorite team's offense can light up the scoreboard with any opponent if need be.
