Three players enter the 2023 season with the chance to finish 2023 with the most games ever played in a Philadelphia Eagles' uniform.

Longtine kicker and franchise legend David Akers owns the record for most games played for the Philadelphia Eagles. The franchise's all-time leading scorer appeared in 188 games played over 12 seasons.

There are three current players within 15 games of this record. All three are healthy and set to start for the Birds when the regular season begins on September 10th.

Defensive end Brandon Graham is the closest to breaking Akers' record as he has enjoyed 178 regular season games in an Eagles uniform. B.G. was a first-round pick by the Eagles during the 2010 NFL Draft and has 70 career sacks on his resume.

Last season, he brought the opposing team's quarterback down 11 times. That's a personal best. The 35-year-old edge rusher enters 2023 with 15 or more games played in 10 of his 13 seasons. He could find himself breaking the record when the Eagles host the Buffalo Bills in Week 12 in late November.

Next in line to break Akers' record is the fan-favorite and franchise legend, Jason Kelce. He was a sixth-round pick in the 2011 NFL Draft and finds himself slightly behind Graham with 176 games played in midnight green.

The 35-year-old offensive lineman hasn't missed a start in a long time. His streak dates back to Week 9 of the 2014 NFL Season. If he remains healthy, he will find himself playing in his 189th game for the Eagles when Philly meets the Dallas Cowboys on the road in Week 14.

With 173 games played with the Eagles to date, defensive tackle Fletcher Cox is another Eagle staring at the prospect of surpassing Akers in 2023. Cox was selected in the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft and has played 14 games or more in every season of his career.

The 32-year-old is on track to start his 189th game in Week 17 versus the Arizona Cardinals. How's this for poetry? They're coached by his former defensive coordinator, Jonathan Gannon.

While we can't predict injuries or the future, it is a safe bet to wager on any of these guys. They have been sturdy and healthy for a long time, and while nothing beyond the 2023-2024 NFL season is certain, three home-grown talents figure to exceed 190 games played at the close of the coming campaign.
