As the final days of July trickle away, five Philadelphia Eagles with questions surrounding their names look to make strong impressions.

Training camp has arrived. We are a little over one month from the Philadelphia Eagles' first regular season game. As everyone fantasizes about the Week 1 matchup in Foxborough versus the New England Patriots, every member of Philly's roster is looking to make good impressions.

The preseason slate of games may not be everyone's favorite part of the process, but it's still an important part of the offseason process. Some players need reps to prove they are deserving of playing time in the regular season. Others are in danger of being left off of the 53-man roster when final cuts are made on Tuesday, August 29th.

The following list includes five players. Two are assured of roster spots. Three are fighting for their roster lives. All are looking to make positive impressions during the preseason.

Kennedy Brooks, Running Back

Kennedy Brooks is one of Jalen Hurts' teammates on the current roster that was also a teammate of his at Oklahoma. Brooks rushed for over 3,300 yards in three seasons with the Sooners, but he faces an uphill battle to earn a spot on the Eagles' 53-man roster.

D'Andre Swift, Rashaad Penny, Kenneth Gainwell, and Boston Scott all seem to have established themselves as the top four tailbacks on the depth chart. It appears all roads lead to the practice squad for the second-year tailback.

Brooks will battle another former Oklahoma Sooner teammate, Trey Sermon, and right now, the theory is Sermon is the better player. Brooks could benefit from a strong training camp and preseason campaign. These other Eagles could as well.
