Maybe it's bad coaching. Maybe the 110-degree temperature is the culprit, but all of those stars and young prospects on the Philadelphia Eagles roster have, at best, looked pretty pedestrian. That's probably an emotional take. Let's call them inconsistent, and in Tampa, things flew off the rails early.

The Birds got off to a sluggish start. How's that for an understatement? It's games like these where you ask you stars to make plays, but unfortunately, Philly is down one of theirs.

Reed Blankenship leaves the Eagles vs. Bucs game.

It's hard to do anything when it's hot. We imagine playing an NFL game in weather like this takes one's body through some strain and torture. Might that be what's wrong with Reed Blankenship?

After exiting Week 3's comeback win versus the New Orleans Saints as one of the game's heroes, Reed left this week's game versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with what has been described as an illness.

After being originally deemed as 'questionable to return', Blankenship has been downgraded to out.

Gosh! Where's that pickle juice when you need some? Tristin McCollum will be asked to fill the void he left in Philly's backend.

As was the case in Week 3, this road test is a costly affair. Reserves will be asked to help win this one.
