We don't discuss the Philadelphia Eagles' preseason games as often as we used to. Heck, we're just thankful for press passes. Ticket prices are entirely too high for a game where the participants aren't trying to win and the result won't be counted on the ledger.

Ask Nick Sirianni or any of the NFL's other head coaches, and they'll tell you. Teams are now placing more emphasis on what they learn from joint practices than anything we see during the three preseason games that are scheduled.

We've known who the Eagles' preseason opponents are for a while. Well.. You know what? You may need to forget some of what we just said because the Baltimore Ravens, Philly's first opponent, Baltimore, takes this preseason schedule very seriously.

The Eagles will participate in one joint practice versus the Patriots ahead of their preseason game on August 15th.

We spoke about this before. It appears things are official now. The Philadelphia Inquirer's Jeff McLane reports Philly will participate in one joint training camp practice versus the New England Patriots in Foxborough before these two meet to play a preseason game.

They'll compete on the practice field on Tuesday, August 13th. The game is set for Thursday, August 15th.
