Well, it won't be long now. Another Philadelphia Eagles season approaches, their 92nd of action. 18 weeks... 17 games... The journey will lead them to battles with the members of the AFC North and NFC South. There's also a game in Brazil.

We feel like we've broken this down every which way. We've predicted how things will turn out. There's still so much to discuss. There are primetime games and the expected feature on Thursday, but we're still months from showtime.

Preseason action will be here before you know it. Here's a look at the Eagles' schedule.

Before we find our way to Sao Paulo and a quarterback duel featuring Jalen Hurts and Jordan Love, other boxes must be checked. Mark those calendars for the coming offseason dates. From there, we move into training camp and the preseason.

It sounds like the Birds will participate in at least one joint practice with the New England Patriots. Teams place more value on the work they do in those than they place in their preseason games, but let's talk about the latter anyway.

Three games are scheduled, one at home and two on the road. Here's a look at what to expect and when.

The aforementioned joint session will take place in Foxborough as the Pats play the role of the home team. Once the final game wraps, the 90-man unit will be trimmed to a 53-man roster and a 16-man practice squad with, possibly, Laekin Vakalahi being named the 17th member of the latter as an international roster exemption.
