When is the 2024 NFL Draft?
It won't be long now. We've endured an epic collapse by our Philadelphia Eagles. We watched them crash and burn during the Wild Card Round of the NFL Playoffs, and just like that, our hopes of seeing the Birds get back to the Super Bowl and win died. The offseason had begun more quickly than expected. That too was quite the process.
Here we sit. The Senior Bowl, NFL Scouting Combine, Pro Days, and free-agency frenzy are in our rearview mirrors. The NFL Draft nears. That represents another opportunity for Philly to improve.
When and where is the 2024 NFL Draft?
The 2024 NFL Draft is scheduled for April 25-27. The Campus Martius Park Hart Plaza in Detroit, Michigan provides the backdrop. We recommend FuboTV for viewing.
What time does the NFL Draft begin?
Round 1 of the draft begins on Thursday, April 25 at 8 p.m. EST. Rounds 2-3 air on Friday, April 26 at 7 p.m. EST. Rounds 4-7 are scheduled for Saturday, April 27. Showtime is at noon EST for the final day.
How many picks do the Eagles have?
If nothing changes between now and the draft (or during the selection meeting), the Philadelphia Eagles own eight picks. Those choices are as follows:
- Round 1, Pick 22
- Round 2, Pick 50
- Round 2, Pick 53
- Round 4, Pick 120
- Round 5, Pick 161
- Round 5, Pick 171
- Round 5, Pick 172
- Round 6, Pick 210
What are Philly's top needs?
The Eagles have several needs that must be addressed during the 2024 NFL Draft. Here they are in no particular order.
- Edge Rusher
- Linebacker
- Running Back
- Offensive Tackle
- Cornerback
- Safety
Philly added seven prospects during last year's draft: Jalen Carter, Nolan Smith, Tyler Steen, Sydney Brown, Kelee Ringo, Tanner McKee, and Moro Ojomo. One year later, we still give that group a passing grade, Let's hope the coming group is equally impressive.
