In anticipation of one of the biggest games of the NFL season between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Chicago Bears, a massive truth bomb was dropped about the team.
The panel for Amazon Prime was discussing whether Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni doesn't get the respect he deserves. Analyst Richard Sherman was more focused on Eagles offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo and pointed the finger at him for the offensive issues.
"When you look at this offense last year ... they were fantastic. you saw Saquon Barkley, offensive player of the year. You saw A.J. Brown have a great year, DeVonta Smith, great year. And then you inject Kevin Patullo as offensive coordinator and all of the sudden, these guys are suddenly struggling. And I think that's the issue."
Sherman isn't lying about Patullo and Eagles fans know it
Everyone in the Philly fan base knows that Patullo has been the main issue with this football team. The Eagles are ranked 24th in the NFL in total offense.
What has led to the problems is the lack of a consistent running game and predictable play calling. Sure, the running game and Saquon Barkley not breaking out long runs should fall somewhat on the offensive line, which has been banged up and struggled all season, aside from Jordan Mailata and Lane Johnson.
As for the play-calling, for former players like Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson to call out the fact that he knows which routes Brown is going to run based on his alignment is simply bad coaching. The Eagles have gotten too simple and predictable with the play calling.

The Eagles are not going to be able to mess around on offense as they face a Bears defense that has created an NFL-high 24 turnovers. Philly has to not only get off to a fast start, but also play strong in all four quarters. Another occurrence like what happened in Dallas in Week 12, and the noise will get louder for Patullo to get replaced.
