Now, that's what we're talking about! Before we state or type another word, here's some fair warning. We're doing our best to take this a game at a time, but it's hard to avoid excitement. The Philadelphia Eagles have something. Here we sit piecing a few words together to describe what we're seeing. Most recently, they passed a West Coast test vs. the Los Angeles Rams with flying colors.

Thanks to a 37-20 win, the Birds improve to 9-2 with six games remaining. They are in sole possession of first place in the NFC East. They improved their record vs. the Rams to 24-20-1 and are now winners of 16 of the last 22 meetings.

Let's talk about a few more numbers that should birth some pretty cool barber shop talk.

The Eagles have now run for 200-plus rushing yards in four of their last seven games.

Philly has certainly turned it on since the bye. Seven straight wins... Better protection of the football... Phenomenal rushing performances...

The Birds have eclipsed 200 yards rushing in four of their seven games since the Week 5 bye. In Week 12, rushing touchdowns were scored by Saquon Barkley and Kenneth Gainwell. For the latter, it was his first rushing TD of the regular season.

Saquon Barkley eclipsed 21 miles per hour on his 70-yard TD run.

Every time we see Saquon Barkley break a long TD run, we check NFL Next Gen Stats, and they tell us he's exceeded 20 miles an hour. We just assumed he had done so again with that 70-yarder.

We were right.

Thank Next Gen Stats for this one. Thank Mr. Barkley for another highlight-reel moment.

Here's another look!

Seriously... What do you say? There isn't much else we can say.

On second thought, we've got you covered.

Worth mentioning: The refs didn't throw the flag once on several obvious holding vs. Jalen Carter.

In a game where the refs threw flags like they were trying to secure some sort of bonus, it's interesting they missed all of the holding penalties that should have been called vs. Jalen Carter. The Rams doubled the young Eagles star constantly, and then they started cheating.

Don't take our word for it. Watch the All-22 angle when it's available on NFL PLus. We guarantee you'll agree with us. We saw Jalen Carter held on at least five different occasions. We don't remember the refs penalizing the Rams on any of them.

But, hey... Philly got the win, so we'll let it ride.
