The Philadelphia Eagles decided to make a very subtle change to the uniform that has everyone sharing their opinions on it.
Back in 2022, the Eagles changed the font of the logo featuring the team's name. During that time, it was a polarizing move as the fan base went back and forth about how they felt.
Well, another change has occurred to the logo used on jerseys. Philly's wordmark on the jersey changed, going from no border color on the team name to a black outline.

Eagles make minor change to the jersey for 2026
Once again, the fan base is split on how they feel about it. The Eagles most likely made the change so that the workmark on the front of the jersey was more visible than it was in the last few years.
There are already those who were not big fans of the change in the first place and want the original wordmark back. Eagles fans have learned to appreciate that more as it feeds into the nostalgia of winning their first Super Bowl with it and the playoff runs they went on over the years.
In the NFL, many teams have undergone major uniform changes to their logos and jersey styles, but the Eagles have really not done so often. They have had the midnight green color since the late 90s and have mostly stuck with what fans have seen over the decades.

Honestly, any change to the uniform beyond what they have done with the wordmark might spark some anger among fans, since everyone is good with how the uniform is. While a minor change was made, don't expect much more to come from it moving forward.
