The Philadelphia Eagles have only one more preseason game to prove they deserve a roster spot before final decisions are made.
That means the pressure will be on at practice over the next week to make sure the players leave a strong final impression. It's a short week for the team before they take on the Cincinnati Bengals to close things out.
Seven players out of the 91 on the roster might need to turn up the heat to make the team. Here's a look at the players who need to step up in this final preseason game against the Bengals.
Which Eagles need to have great final preseason games to stay on the roster?
Dameon Pierce, RB
Pierce has been hurt, but his roster status took a massive tumble with Will Shipley and Carson Steele's performances in the preseason loss to the New England Patriots. For Pierce to even have a shot at making the team, he must play and show he can contribute on special teams as a returner. Otherwise, his time in Philly is more than likely over.
Elijah Moore, WR
The wide receiver position is a question mark for the Eagles, but the big question is whether the team wants to carry five or six on the 53-man roster. Moore has a lot to prove in this final game, as he is battling with Britain Covey for that last spot, and Covey might get it because he is a returner. That puts pressure on Moore to make some plays to prove he should be on the team.
Myles Hinton, OL
Philly's offensive line has been praised through the first two preseason games, but Hinton seems to be falling far behind the others. With guys like Markel Bell stepping up, Hinton may not be able to beat him or Fred Johnson out. At this point, without a great showing, Hinton might find himself on the practice squad if he doesn't make some moves here in the final game.
Gabe Hall, DT
The better Uar Bernard plays, the worse it gets for Hall in making this team. It already feels like Ty Robinson and Byron Young will be kept on the roster at tackle, and if Brandon Graham comes back and re-signs with Philly, there's another spot that takes. Hall will need a game-changing play to make the roster.
Chance Campbell, LB
Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio likes how Campbell has played, but he is still on the roster bubble entering the final preseason game. Campbell will need a highlight play that shows he can be more than a special teams player. A few tackles for loss or a forced fumble might do the trick.
Shaun Wade, CB
Wade has been one of the very few bright spots among the reserve corners on this team with his two forced fumbles. Still, he faces an uphill battle to make the 53-man roster, with other players who have been here longer getting the edge over him. Another turnover created, though, might change the conversation.

Kelee Ringo, CB
Ringo is having a rough preseason despite grabbing an interception in the opener against the Baltimore Ravens. That doesn't mean his spot is secure, and his special teams work won't be enough to save him. He needs a game where he doesn't need to create a turnover, but a few pass deflections would go a long way.
