Brad Gagnon of Bleacher Report offered some "encouraging words" to Philadelphia Eagles fans about why they'll repeat as Super Bowl champions in 2025.
The problem is that there isn't much stock behind his words. Gagnon believes that the Eagles should win because, well, "they did it last year."
"And while the last few weeks have been a struggle, this is an experienced, resilient team that won't panic," Gagnon said. "The Dodgers were significantly less dominant in 2025 than they were in 2024, but they calmly went about business and easily made it back to the World Series. The Eagles could follow the same path."
Eagles can still get the job done for another Super Bowl
While that answer may not be the most reassuring or confidence-inspiring for Eagles fans, it is a fact of the Eagles' situation. The Eagles roster currently sits at over 60% of players who were on the 2024 Super Bowl-winning team, bringing a wealth of experience into the final four weeks of the season.
Comparisons are often the thief of joy. Eagles fans right now don't have much to be happy about during the second half of the season. The team has struggled, losing its last three games in a row, looking incredibly lost and lacking leadership, especially on offense.
At this juncture in the season, the Eagles' only selling point is that they will have to lean on their experience and past success to push through their current struggles. And while the last few weeks have been a struggle, this is an experienced, resilient team that shouldn't panic.
Currently, the Eagles sit atop the NFC East, up two games over the Dallas Cowboys in the win column. While it's unlikely that the Eagles will miss the playoffs this season, their margin for error is shrinking.

While fans and Gagnon hope past performances propel the Eagles to playoff success, to achieve their goals, they'll have to start with their performance against the Kenny Pickett-led Las Vegas Raiders, with renewed urgency.
