These 4 Eagles could be taking part in their last OTAs in Philly

OTAs got started for the Philadelphia Eagles, and it might mark the end of a few players on the current 90-man roster.

The Eagles will have some tough decisions to make over the next few months, but the evaluation process is underway. On offense, defense, and special teams, there are great players, with a mix of those on the bubble.

One major question is which players who have been on the team for a while could be participating in Eagles OTAs for the last time.

Grant Calcaterra, TE

The tight end room is so deep in Philly that it is going to be a massive challenge for Calcaterra to make the roster. Dallas Goedert and Eli Stowers give them the receiving tight ends they need, while Stone Smartt and Johnny Mundt are battling to be the third tight end who specializes in blocking. Calcaterra was one of the worst blocking tight ends in the NFL last year, and he's not as good a pass catcher as Goedert and Stowers are, so that leaves him the odd man out.

Johnny Wilson, WR

Wilson is a tall receiver whom the Eagles would love to have on the roster, but he missed all of last season with an injury. Four new receivers were added this offseason, making it tough for him to make the 53-man roster. He will have to battle with Elijah Moore and Darius Cooper for those final two spots at wide receiver. It's not look good for Wilson to stay on the team any longer.

Byron Young, DL

Young had some nice moments late in the season, filling in for Jalen Carter as part of the defensive line rotation, but things have changed. Ty Robinson is in Year 2 with a chance to break out, and rookie seventh-round pick Uar Bernard has the potential to be a freak of nature athlete on the line. If Bernard progresses faster than the team expects, Young might be the nice guy finishing last.

Kelee Ringo, CB

The only saving grace for Ringo over the years is how great he has been on special teams as a gunner. Philly signed J.T. Gray to help on special teams, leaving Ringo in danger of losing his job on the team, as the cornerback position is deep and special teams is only getting better. It may finally be the time when Ringo loses his spot on the team for good.
