The Philadelphia Eagles' Cam Jurgens trade to the Baltimore Ravens certainly changed things for their next two drafts.
Philly sent Jurgens and a 2027 seventh-round pick to the Ravens in exchange for a 2027 fifth-round pick and a 2028 second-round pick. This flips the Eagles' draft picks over the next two years, giving them one extra pick and bringing the total to 15 between 2027 and 2028.
This leaves the Eagles with some interesting decisions about how to use them, either by making a selection or including them in future trades. Here is an updated look at their draft picks and what fans can expect the Eagles to do with them.

The Eagles lost their third-round pick in the Jonathan Greenard trade during the 2026 NFL Draft. Philly also offloaded their 2026 third-round pick to acquire Greenard.
Their sixth-round pick came from the John Metchie III trade with the New York Jets. Philly got a 2027 seventh-round pick and safety Michael Carter II.
The original seventh-round pick was used in the Minnesota Vikings-Sam Howell trade last year. The Eagles acquired Howell as their third-string quarterback and sent that seventh-round pick to the Vikings.
Two of the Eagles' six picks for next year were from other teams, as they have two fifth-rounders. They came from the Patriots and Ravens as part of trades they made since June.

The Patriots and Ravens also gave the Eagles early-round picks for the 2028 draft as part of the Brown and Jurgens trades. Philly will hold four picks in the first 64 selections of the 2028 draft.
How can the Eagles use those 15 draft picks in the next two years?
Are the Eagles going to keep all 15 of those picks over the next two years? Not very likely. In some capacity this is going to completely change.
The reality is that the Eagles will need to trade away some players because of their salary cap situation. With them sitting at $11 million this year and $36 million in 2027, they also have the dead cap to factor in, which could affect their decision-making for the future.
Eagles general manager Howie Roseman will be looking at adding some 2027 Day 3 draft picks by trading some of their young, depth players on the roster. Roseman could also use those three fifth-round picks to move up in the third or fourth round for a player they really like. Philly has historically been very good at picking players in the fifth round, so they will want to keep being consistent.
For the 2028 draft, the possibilities are endless. The financial side, of course, will shape whether they want to move on from some of them or keep them. Again, going back to the dead cap and the potential situation, Roseman might value those picks more than anything.
Next offseason, the Eagles have to lock in Cooper DeJean and Quinyon Mitchell to long-term deals. Other guys like Tyler Steen, DeVonta Smith, and Jalen Hurts could also be in the conversation for extensions, so that money will be tight. Keeping those draft picks could land them starters who cost much less than star players.

Roseman is nowhere near done with these picks. This list could look very different a month from now, before the trade deadline, as he tries to load up the Eagles' draft.
