Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly shocked the NFL world when he traded for injury plagued quarterback Sam Bradford. Although he’s heading into the last year of his rookie contract, Bradford provides a ton of upside if he can stay healthy and on the field. But should the Eagles and Kelly have extended Bradford’s contract by now? Both parties are in an interesting spot considering the Eagles would like to lock up Bradford before he potentially puts up incredible numbers in 2015 but Bradford would like to possibly prove himself to earn more money. All that and more in this morning’s serving of Bacon, Eggs and Eagles!

The Curious Case of Sam Bradford’s ContractAndrew Brandt of MMQB.SI.com

"The Eagles had a chance to leverage an extension when they traded for him, but didn’t. What does it mean for the future? No team was more active this offseason than the Eagles. Once he became armed with the power to reshape the roster fully in his image, Chip Kelly went to work with abandon, replacing most of his skill players and jettisoning some who didn’t fully “buy in” to the culture. Like him or not, Kelly is a refreshing change agent in a profession that sorely needed one. In his world, there is no time to dawdle. He talks fast, walks fast, coaches fast and now, having been in the role for less than six months, general-manages fast."

Jason Peters moving faster than he ever has with EaglesFOXSports.com

"The Philadelphia Eagles will enter 2015 with two new starters along the offensive line, but Jason Peters won’t be one of them. Despite the fact that he is now 33 years old, he still the offensive lineman that the entire offense looks up to. In 2014, Peters finished as Pro Football Focus’ top-rated offensive tackle overall.“You know what’s amazing about it?” said offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland, per Philadelphia Magazine. “I swear to you, the other day I was watching, we were doing a drill, and he moved faster than he had since I’ve been here. You don’t expect that. You think he’s getting older, and you think he’s going to start… and you don’t see any signs of that. You just don’t. He takes good care of himself."

Every NFL Team’s To-Do List Heading into Training CampIan Wharton of BleacherReport.com

"We’ve reached the dead period in the NFL offseason, where teams and players are preparing for the massive grind of the regular season. Training camp will be the next set of organized team events and also officially signals that football is back. Teams must enter training camp with a to-do list as they head into the summer to ensure they’re fully prepared for the year.Staying healthy throughout training camp is important for all teams, but players who suffered recent injuries are especially at risk. We’ll see numerous mentions of key players who must return 100 percent from an injury. Some will surely be back to their previous form, but it’s not a guarantee that all will."

As everyone knows, the 2015 NBA Draft was last night and the Philadelphia 76ers made some questionable picks. But Eagles offensive tackle Lane Johnson had some fun with them on Twitter:
