Round Two, Picks 17-32

17. New York Jets
Jordan Matthews
Wide Receiver, Vanderbilt

18. Miami Dolphins
Ryan Shazier
Outside Linebacker, Ohio State

19. Chicago Bears
Travis Swanson
Center/Guard, Arkansas

20. Arizona Cardinals
Stanley Jean-Baptiste
Cornerback, Nebraska

21. Green Bay Packers
Troy Niklas

22. Philadelphia Eagles
Jeremiah Attaochu
Outside Linebacker, Georgia Tech

The Eagles luck out with regards to team needs meeting the strong points of the 2014 NFL Draft, with this year featuring a multitude of pass rushing outside linebackers. Attaochu has experience in both the 3-4 and the 4-3, most recently lining up in the latter while racking up 12.5 sacks on the season. He’s not quite the freak of measurables that most link to Chip Kelly when referring to outside linebackers (like 6’7, 240 pound Dion Jordan at Oregon), but at 6’3 and 242 pounds Attaochu isn’t small. He can carve a niche for himself in an Eagles linebacking corps that has yet to establish themselves as a group who gets to the quarterback consistently and would likely be the heir apparent to Trent Cole.

DaQuan Jones
Defensive Tackle, Penn State
