Dave:
The Rams are back on the clock with their second selection of the first round, and after addressing a need with Greg Robinson they can afford a more luxurious pick at a skill position. While a wide receiver like USC’s Marqise Lee could be an option here, a position they’ll still need to address in the Draft, I believe St. Louis goes after the Draft’s top safety with Alabama’s Ha’Sean Clinton-Dix.
Giorgos:
I’d like to see the Eagles trade up to get this guy. HaSean Clinton-Dix is the most well-rounded safety in this draft class and a day-one starter. He shows excellent angles of pursuit and the speed to quickly cover space in the backfield. Maybe the room for improvement is not very big for Clinton-Dix, but that is fine given his current level of play. The St. Louis Rams have T.J. McDonald and Rodney McLeod returning, but Clinton-Dix would be an upgrade over both.
