Another inexplicable draft fall ends with Alabama linebacker C.J. Mosley, who immediately upgrades a Cardinals defense that was already the stronger of their two units last season. This comes slightly to the dismay of Arizona front office members who hoped to snag a top four tackle here (Zack Martin), but Mosley is a stud who should excel wherever the Cardinals decide to put him, inside or outside.

For the second straight season, the Arizona Cardinals miss out on the top offensive tackle prospects. Getting C.J. Mosley, however, more than makes up for that. A tall linebacker that plays better behind the defensive line than next to it, Mosley commands the middle with great results. His biggest asset is his intelligence and the ability to diagnose plays. He rarely finds himself out of play and he is good against the run and when firing off as a blitzer. On the other hand, Mosley needs to improve his tackling and maybe add some bulk
